“I want people to be afraid of how much they love me.” — Michael Scott

Hey guys! My name is Brady Stein, and I am super excited to be your mentor for this year! You will love it here at ISU, especially with me helping to guide your college experience. Idaho State is an amazing school with great academics, sports, and a very friendly atmosphere. You never know who could be on campus, and over this past year I have been able to run into John Stockton, Danny Duncan, and was even able to live with royalty as roommates with the President of the Grilled Cheese Club! What brought me to Idaho State is the amazing engineering program we have right on campus, the great ties we have with Idaho National Laboratory, and the amazing nature that is just outside of Pocatello.

Back home in Southern Illinois, I was from a very small one-stoplight-town named Nashville. I spent most of my time playing baseball and golf, fishing, hunting, and hanging out with friends. I started to become interested in engineering as a child playing with Legos. My mom pushed me to check out engineering, and it really intrigued me. As I got older, I realized I wanted to go into nuclear energy from a great chemistry teacher that I had who did a lesson on nuclear energy. I am so glad that I have chosen this field because it was what brought me to ISU. As your mentor, I hope to show you everything that made me fall in love with being a Bengal and help you start your college career.
