Honors Student Events

Honors student events are meant to connect Honors students with meaningful experiences and build relationships within the UHP community, the Pocatello community, and the professional world. Events fall under three categories: social, service, and professional development.

Social Events

Designed to foster community within the Honors Program, the social events provide a light-hearted atmosphere to meet and connect with fellow Honors students. Past examples are the Honors Mario Kart Tournament, Trivia Night, and Honors Valentine's Day Decorating Event.

Service Events

Geared towards helping members of the local community, the service events are an excellent time to build your connections in the Pocatello area and volunteer. Past examples are the Rake-a-Difference and Valentine's Day Cards for the Elderly, and many Honors students volunteer at the Idaho Food Bank next to campus. 

Professional Development Events

Created to build your professional network, the professional development events are perfect for connecting with professionals in multiple fields and building your resume. Past examples are the On Common Ground Launch Party, the Honors Opportuni-Tea Fundraiser, and the Health Care Visiting Speaker Series.

HONORS EVENTS

Attend Homecoming Events with the UHP Club!

At each event, a UHPC officer will be there with a QR code that you can scan. If you scan the QR code, it will count toward your event attendance requirement for the semester AND count as an entry into the raffle.  All you have to do is show up to the event and scan the code! 

  • Window Painting, Saturday, October 3rd, 10am-1pm in the PSUB - Quad Lounge

  • Homecoming Kick Off BBQ, Monday, October 5th, 4-6pm, Quad

  • Homecoming Bonfire, Tuesday, October 6th, 8-10pm, ICCU Dome

  • Bengal Wednesday, October 7th, Noon - 1pm, PSUB - Lobby 2nd Floor

  • Bingo, Wednesday, October 7th, 7-9pm, PSUB - Ballroom

  • Homecoming Royalty Pageant, Thursday October 8th, 7-9pm, PSUB - Quad Lounge

  • UHPC Pre-Parade Social, Saturday, October 10th, 9am, Starbucks inside the Library

  • Homecoming Parade, Saturday, October 10th, 10am, Starbucks inside the Library

Fall 2026 BAHM

BAHM sessions will be held in REND 203 on the following days. 

Tuesday, October 13th, 5-6:00PM
Thursday, October 15th, 8-9:00AM
Friday, October 16th, 12:30-1:30PM
