Dart Guns

Overview:

A dart gun only provides a specific amount of force to a dart when it is fired. Since F=MA, the lighter darts will experience a higher acceleration due to the lack of mass. Heavier darts will experience a smaller acceleration for the same reason.

Materials:

Dart gun

Darts

Darts with varied masses attached

Setup:

Place the gun and darts on a table for easy access.

How to:

Place the lightest dart into the and fire it towards the opposite side of the room. Repeat the process with the next lightest dart and the heaviest dart. Make sure to fire from the same location and towards the same direction.

Safety:

Do not fire dart guns at other people.
