Summer Institute for Piano & Strings Faculty and Staff Concert June 24

The Summer Institute for Piano and Strings (SIPS) returns to Idaho State University the week of June 23rd, bringing a series of inspiring performances to the community.
The camp’s theme this year is “International Women in Music,” showcasing incredible music from diverse composers.
The Faculty and Staff Concert on Tuesday, June 24 at 7:30 p.m. will bring to life music from prominent composers such as Clara Schumann, Amy Beach, and Fanny Mendelssohn- all performed by our very own ISU professors and SIPS staff. It’s a performance you won’t want to miss! Ticket sales from this concert also help raise funds for future SIPS camps.

Along with the Faculty & Staff Concert on Tuesday night, we also invite you to experience the other concerts throughout the week that will showcase SIPS students.
Student Solo Night
Thursday, June 26 at 7:30 PM
Experience a variety of individual performances by our hardworking and passionate students. Free and open to the public at the Stephens Performing Arts Center.
Final Concert
Friday, June 27 at 7 PM
Celebrate the culmination of a week of learning and music-making at the Final Concert, featuring all SIPS participants. Enjoy a diverse program including piano duets, trios, string ensembles, the SIPS Orchestra, and the camp choir. This year’s theme, “International Women in Music,” will be celebrated with works by influential female composers such as Yukiko Nishimura (Orchid Fantasy) and others.
The Final Concert is free and open to the public. All music lovers are invited to attend and support the incredible work of these young performers.
