Festival of Trees Seeks Funding Proposals from Local Nonprofit Organizations

May 29, 2025

Festival of Trees, presented by the Idaho State University College of Business, is now accepting proposals from nonprofit organizations seeking financial support for their programs and initiatives.

The Festival of Trees is a tradition that captures the magic of the holidays while bringing the community together in support of local education and community needs. The Stephens Performing Arts Center on the Idaho State University campus is transformed into a wonderland of beautifully decorated holiday trees and displays, with attractions and entertainment scheduled daily. This year's event will be November 19 - 22.

Submission Deadline: Friday, June 20

How to Apply: In 500 words or less, explain why your nonprofit should be chosen and how Festival of Trees funds would help your group make a greater impact in the community. Include information like demographics of the people you help, how many people are assisted annually, programs or events offered, and any other relevant statistics. Send your proposals to Festival Director Suzette Porter at suzetteporter@isu.edu.

Two to three benefiting groups will be chosen by the Festival of Trees planning committee and announced in July. The amount awarded to each selected nonprofit will be based on a percentage of the total funds raised during the event.

Festival of Trees looks forward to partnering with local groups to bring positive change to the community.
