Course Frameworks and Course Packs

Course Frameworks

Course Frameworks are pre-designed elements that provide an overall structure for a Canvas ISU course. A framework can serve as a starting point for your course design and help ensure consistency across your course. A framework provides you with placeholders and guidelines for activities and assessments.

Access Canvas Course Frameworks:

To access ISU-branded Canvas course frameworks, refer to the article "How do I import and view a Commons resource in Canvas?" on the Canvas Community platform. Simply search for "(ITRC)" in Canvas Commons to find the specific ISU-branded templates.

Course Packs

Course Packs include specific tools with related resources that can be easily imported from the Canvas Commons into your course. Currently, there are course packs for Online Proctoring (Examity or ProctorFree) and Tutoring (Tutor.com and University Tutoring).
