Idaho Fish and Wildlife Funds Stream Table

The Museum is redesigning its Discovery Room around the theme of Waters of the West.
The room is open to the public, free-of-charge, and is the venue for education programs at the Museum. The redesign aims to integrate existing water-themed exhibits and programming, such as Trout in the Classroom, with new educational resources.
The addition of a sediment stream table helps teach about river processes and its connection to human lives, economies, and the environment. The stream table is an engaging, dynamic feature that supports a wide variety of educational programs in the Discovery Room, and because it is a portable unit, can also be used for a variety of outreach activities.
