I am an M.S. Geology student working with Dr. Glenn Thackray. I love all aspects of geology, but my current research is focused on rock glaciers in central Idaho. The project has two main components: hydrology of rock glacier streams and InSAR analysis on down-valley rock glacier movement. We aim to combine these to further understand water resources in central Idaho. I am also interested in how we can apply remote sensing techniques to gain understanding of and inform decisions about our natural world.
I earned my B.A. in Geology at Whitman College in 2022, and between my academic programs I worked as a canyoneering and white-water guide in Moab, UT. Outside of work, I am an avid rock climber and hiker, and love to travel and camp both across the western US and internationally.
