Pro Tips
- Arrive at the ICCU Dome one hour early.
- Come in through the north entrance.
- Don't bring anything with you unless you are prepared to carry it across the stage.
- Wear your cap and gown!
- Before lining up, you will need to check in and receive your reader card.
- Your card will be used to announce your name as you cross the stage. Don’t lose it.
- After you have your card, find a spot in line behind your college’s orange banner.
- Graduate students should line up behind the Graduate School banner.
Graduation Checklist
Graduation Application
To officially graduate from ISU, a student must apply for graduation.
After receipt of final grades, the student's degree audit (degree plan) must show the student satisfied all university, college and departmental requirements for the specific degree or certificate.
Deadlines
- September 22 - Winter Deadline (December 2025)
- February 9 - Spring Deadline (May 2026)
The deadline to apply for a Summer graduation and be included in the May Commencement program is March 30, 2025. Please apply early.
All Summer graduates are welcome to walk at the May Commencement events.
