November 19- 22, 2025
Public opening November 20
The Festival of Trees is a tradition that captures the magic of the holidays while bringing our community together in support of local education and community needs. Proceeds from this year's event will support School District 25’s Education Foundation, Idaho State University student, scholarships and Make-A-Wish Idaho. Additional beneficiaries will be announced in July.
During the festival, the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephen's Performing Arts Center is transformed into a wonderland of beautifully decorated holiday trees and displays, with attractions and entertainment scheduled daily. These events include the Grand Holiday Gala (held the night before the Festival is open to the public), Children's Royal Tea Party, Breakfast with Santa, musical performances, and more.
We sincerely appreciate your support in helping us to ensure this traditional community event has a positive and lasting impact on our community, our students, and our educators.
Festival of Trees is now accepting proposals from nonprofit organizations seeking financial support for their programs and initiatives.
Submission Deadline: Friday, June 20
How to Apply: In 500 words or less, explain why your nonprofit should be chosen and how Festival of Trees funds would help your group make a greater impact in the community. Include information like demographics of the people you help, how many people are assisted annually, programs or events offered, and any other relevant statistics. Send your proposals to Festival Director Suzette Porter at suzetteporter@isu.edu.
Two to three benefiting groups will be chosen by the Festival of Trees planning committee and announced in July. The amount awarded to each selected nonprofit will be based on a percentage of the total funds raised during the event.
