Samantha Hobson has created the following course for the Albion Center:

• A Comprehensive Guide to Child Development

Samantha Hobson is an elementary teacher with more than a decade of experience working with children in educational settings. She began her career as an after-school program aide and later served as program coordinator, an experience that sparked her passion for teaching and inspired her to pursue a career in the classroom. Now in her sixth year of teaching, Samantha has taught kindergarten, first, second, and fourth grade. While she has enjoyed working across grade levels, she especially loves teaching primary students how to read and helping them build strong foundations for future learning and success. Samantha holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Idaho State University and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Outside the classroom, Samantha and her high school sweetheart are enjoying the early stages of parenthood with their two young children. She considers balancing motherhood and teaching one of her most rewarding accomplishments, deepening her understanding of child development and the joy of watching children learn and grow.
