Jim McCubbin is a veteran educator with 29 years of experience teaching World History, U.S. Government, and other social studies courses in both traditional and online settings. He has led curriculum development teams, created engaging online courses for the Idaho Digital Learning Alliance, and designed professional development sessions for educators. He holds a BA in History and an Ed.M. in Social Studies Education and is pursuing an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, focusing on the use of AI to improve student feedback and learning outcomes. Recognized as an instructional leader, Jim is known for creating well-structured, standards-aligned courses that inspire students and support teachers. He lives in Idaho Falls, where he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.
