Chase Smolik
Sales Engineer
Chase Smolik has created the following course for the Albion Center:
Chase's career in education began at the community college where he started his own academic journey as a first-generation student. Under a Title V HSI Grant, Chase founded and led a Supplemental Instruction program to support students just like him in historically difficult courses. Through that experience, he was inspired to incorporate digital learning tools into these interactive study sessions to increase impact. He also coordinated Texas A&M University's SI & Tutoring program while earning his first graduate degree in Ed. Tech Leadership. During this program, he built out scalable implementation plans for K-12 districts to review new Ed Tech (back then, it was Web2.0 Tools like digital flashcards, interactive simulations, etc.) into the curriculum. As a Sales Engineer, Chase now works closely with key decision makers, influencers, and end-users to ensure their needs are clearly identified to help determine which tools would be most valuable and aligned to their goals. In his free time, Chase enjoys hiking with his dog, Kona, in the Pacific Northwest and spending time at the beach, or on the many lakes around Seattle.
