Tara Haley
Life Coach and High School Critical Thinking, Personal Finance, and Dual-Credit AVID Teacher
Tara Haley has created the following course for the Albion Center:
Tara Haley is an educator, author, coach, and cheerleader. Her passion is to help others find their "Gift of Today," and their “Gift of Mondays.” She believes the worst question we ask our youth is "what do you want to be when you grow up?". Instead, we should be asking questions like "Who are you?", "What are you uniquely qualified for?", and "What are you willing to struggle for?". Personally, Tara has had to struggle through traumatic personal and professional challenges, including failing out of college her first time due to undiagnosed cognitive and learning challenges. Now, she loves creating content where her students and clients walk away from a course with a product or a new practice that can be immediately implemented in their unique classrooms/professions, for their specific purpose. Tara has earned a Bachelor of Science in English Education with an emphasis in Urban studies, a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Master of Education in Learning and Technology. She also has been trained in the Community Resiliency Model by the Trauma Research Institute. In her free time, Tara loves to be present with others and nature while engaging in meaningful conversations.
