Scott Clifton is a passionate educator with 17 years of experience in Math Education. Over the years, he has honed his skills in a variety of educational settings, including traditional schools, virtual schools, homeschools, and alternative charter schools. Scott is deeply committed to making math education fun and engaging, creating learning experiences that spark curiosity and excitement in students. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys spending time with his family, exploring nature, and traveling. An avid lover of outdoor sports, Scott finds inspiration in the natural world and uses his experiences to bring fresh perspectives to his teaching and course development. Throughout his life, he has embraced adventure and challenges, having run a marathon, hiked the John Muir Trail and Tahoe Rim Trail, climbed the iconic 2,000-foot granite walls of Yosemite, and walked long highlines over 500 meters.
