Raina Patterson has created the following course for the Albion Center:
Raina Patterson is an experienced educator with 21 years in the classroom, having taught every grade from kindergarten through fourth, as well as serving as a K-5 interventionist. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Pacific Lutheran University in 2001 and spent a decade teaching in western Washington before relocating to Idaho. In 2018, she completed her Master’s in Educational Administration at Idaho State University and now serves as the Federal Programs Coordinator for the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District. In her current role, Raina supports a diverse range of learners, including students from low-income backgrounds, homeless and unaccompanied youth, and multilingual learners acquiring English. She also collaborates closely with the Juvenile Detention Center to help ensure educational continuity for students in non-traditional learning environments. Outside of work, Raina enjoys reading, hiking, and kayaking with her family.
