Dr. Kristy Otte

Dr. Kristy Otte has created the following course for the Albion Center:
Having dedicated many years to teaching English as a Second Language, Dr. Kristy Otte has actively championed the needs of her students through advocacy at the local, state, and federal levels. Her commitment to the education profession extends to her involvement with Education Minnesota, where she serves as a contract negotiator within her district. In all of Dr. Otte's endeavors, she firmly upholds the professionalism of teachers and passionately advocates for public schools and the students they serve. Dr. Otte has earned her Doctorate of Education, Master of the Arts of Teaching, Master of the Arts in Latin American and Caribbean Studies, and a Bachelor of the Arts in French, Spanish, & Portuguese. Outside of her teaching and advocacy work, she enjoys spending time outdoors. This includes hiking, kayaking, and swimming. Her care for the environment includes working as a volunteer with the Wisconsin DNR Frog and Toad Survey each year.
