Band and Orchestra Teacher

Zane Kaiser has created the following course for the Albion Center:

• Sensory-Friendly Arts Experiences
• Technology in the Music Classroom

Zane Kaiser has been teaching band and orchestra at the middle school level in Minneapolis Public Schools for eight years. He currently teaches seven bands and three orchestras, including jazz band. He is also a conductor with the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies (GTCYS), and a bassoonist. In Zane's career, he has had the opportunity to facilitate both professional development and peer collaboration around music technology, including implementing technology into his instruction. Zane holds an undergraduate degree in Instrumental Music Education, as well as a Masters of Music in Music Education. In his free time, Zane is an avid backyard chicken enthusiast (he currently has three), an introductory-level certified sommelier, and he loves kayaking around all the lakes in Minneapolis!
