Matthew Baker has created the following course for the Albion Center:

• Gamified Learning in Education
• History and Philosophy of Education

As a secondary teacher and coach for more than 12 years, Matt Baker has found that his passion for being an effective educator has grown every year. He is a third generation educator with multiple family members in the field of education. This has inspired him to educate future generations, and prepare students as lifelong learners. He has completed and pursued Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees with certification in K-12 education. Effective programming in academics, leadership, engagement, culture, discipline, safety, higher education, and career readiness are some of the many aspects of education that he has overseen and implemented in his classroom and school. In his free time, Matt enjoys coaching, volunteering, supporting community events, and traveling. Outside of education, he is passionate about his faith and spending time with family.
