Dr. Charles Igel has created the following courses for the Albion Center:

For the past 12 years, Dr. Charles Igel was the Director of Elementary Teacher Licensure and Associate Professor of Education and Research at Regis University's Department of Education. There, he focused on preparing teachers in the use of evidence-based practice with an emphasis on student-centered learning. Dr. Igel began his career in education as a licensed public school teacher in both Virginia and Colorado. Before entering the education field, he served as a non-commissioned officer in the US Army Reserves with the 11th Special Forces Group. He was fortunate to work for five years as a Senior Researcher for the Institute of Education Sciences Mid-continent Regional Laboratory (REL-Central). During his time there, Dr. Igel served as the lead methodologist for the landmark McREL publication, Classroom Instruction that Works 2nd Ed. Along with that, he also served as educational consultant to the islands of Guam, Marshall Islands, and Saipan, providing technical assistance to their education departments. In addition to his academic work, Dr. Igel is a voiceover actor who specializes in training and educational content such as eLearning, narration, and audiobooks.
