Kristina Horton has been a teacher for over 20 years in Salem, Oregon, after completing her teacher licensure in San Diego, California. Throughout her entire career, she has taught Social Studies in many different grade levels both in middle school and high school. Much of her career was spent teaching 8th grade U.S. History and Government, which inspired her to create professional development courses about this subject. Kristina holds a bachelor's degree in history from Point Loma Nazarene University, and a Master of Education: Curriculum and Instruction degree from Corban University. In her free time, Kristina enjoys spending time with her family, even though her youngest is off to college. She also loves to travel.
