Dr. Randy Simonson
Distinguished Professor of Psychology
Dr. Randy Simonson has created the following course for the Albion Center:
Dr. Randy Simonson has taught post-secondary psychology for over 25 years, his students have ranged from 16- to 80-year-olds in PSYC 101 to upper division psychology and criminal justice, and even graduate level measurement courses. His schooling is in Psychology, but he says that he is certainly an educator first. Dr. Simonson has 3 degrees in Psychology: a BS from BYU, an MS from WWU, and a PhD from NNU. His degrees are his personal achievements, but a more appreciable opus are his students who complete their advanced degrees and reach back to let him know. One day, he will finish writing a few books, but for now, his academic posterity will be his major professional achievement. Dr. Simsonson was born and raised in Seattle and found Twin Falls, Idaho, his true home. He is quite happily married for 36+ years, the father of 4 and grandfather of 9 going on 11! He is a die hard Utah Jazz and Disneyland fan, and an avid Tolkien enthusiast!
