Dr. Michael Konrad

Instructor of Psychology at the College of Southern Idaho

Dr. Michael Konrad has created the following courses for the Albion Center:

Dr. Michael Konrad spent 12 years as a high school social studies teacher and has been teaching in higher education since 2021. As a high school teacher, Dr. Konrad taught US History, World History, and his favorite, Psychology. He also has coached golf, basketball, and football. Conversely, he earned his doctorate degree in performance psychology (a broader field of sport psychology). He is fascinated with psychological skills and how the way in which we think affects the way in which we behave. Further, the athletes who use psychological skills to go from good to great, and then great to elite, drive his interests as an educator and researcher. On a personal note, Dr. Konrad loves the great outdoors, Southern Idaho, and fixing up old muscle cars! So, any chance he gets to explore the great Idaho outdoors via hunting, fishing, golfing, or camping, he usually takes it. He and his wife have been married for 13 years and share two children that can usually be found tagging along with whatever their dad is doing!
