Nathan Lammers

STEM Teacher

Nathan Lammers has created the following course for the Albion Center:

• STEM: Elementary Engineering Design

Nathan has been the STEM teacher at state STEM-certified JR Simplot Elementary in American Falls, Idaho for 5 years. He has also taught STEM and Makerspace classes at William Thomas Middle School for 2 years. At both schools, engineering is the focus of instruction. He has attended iSTEM summer institutes and collaborated on the team to develop the 3-5 grade iSTEM Computer Science learning strand. Nathan has received the award of Educator of the Year 2023 for Idaho Education Technology Association, as well as the ISU College of Education Young Alumni Impact Award 2023. In his free time, Nathan likes learning and doing anything creative. He also enjoys woodworking, electronics, and 3D printing!
