John Fitzpatrick has created* the following course for the Albion Center:
*Created in partnership with Dawn Fitzpatrick
With a Ph.D. sport psychology and an emphasis on motor learning and development, Dr. John Fitzpatrick has taught in higher education for over thirty years. Using his experience as an elementary classroom and physical education teacher, he has seen the power of using movement inside and outside of the classroom. As a college professor, it has been his pleasure to work with students and athletes. Seeing what they have accomplished in the classroom, on the playing field, and in their careers, gives Dr. Fitzpatrick joy. His major achievement is through those students. Dr. Fitzpatrick loves being outdoors, especially the water. Swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking keeps him close to the water. He also enjoys hiking in the warm weather, and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Playing ukulele in his family band keeps him on his toes (and fingers).
