Dr. Shu-Yuan Lin has created the following course for the Albion Center:
Dr. Shu-Yuan Lin received her Doctorate in Educational Leadership (with a focus on instructional technology) from Idaho State University. She also earned a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Second Language Education from the University of Houston. Her Bachelor’s degree is in Foreign Languages and Literature from National Chunghsing University, Taiwan. Dr. Lin is currently a Clinical Professor in the College of Education at Idaho State University. She has several years of teaching experience as an English teacher in Taiwan. Since 2007, She has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, such as ESL Foundations and Methods, Education Equity and Ethics, Elementary and Secondary Methods, etc. Her research interests and special projects focus on concept mapping, English as a second/foreign language instruction, family engagement, technology integration in K-16 instruction, standards-based teacher assessments, accessibility in instructional materials and learning activities for multilingual learners, and equity and ethics in K-12 education.
